Per manual, max scan rates are 96khz horizontal, 160hz vertical. In practice it will display up to 196hz vertical. This monitor will accept composite sync via the Hsync pin if necessary.

Removing the case can be difficult, as the process is not properly documented in the service manual. The rear of the case is attached with two screws at the bottom, and three plastic clips on top. After removing both screws, use a flathead screwdriver and press down into the seam at the top of the case at the three locations shown here to release the clips. It works best if you start from one side and work your way across.
